Goods Carriage Permit.

The following are the details for obtaining Goods Carriage Permit under the KMV/CMV Act, from the Road Transport Authority.

Procedure for obtaining Goods Carriage Permit:

Application & Documents required:

a) Application in KMV Form 37

b) Authorization application in CMV Form 46

c) Documents such as registration / Fitness Certificate, Tax Card, Insurance, Emission Certificate to be produced.

Fees & Tax payable:

1. Fee Rs.850/-

2. Demand Drafts for opted states

Validity for Goods Carriage Permit

Permit will be issued in KMV Form 45 valid for 5 years from the date of issue and valid for five years from the date of issue.
