WHAT IS TRANSPORT ADALAT ?
The Transport Department is conducting Transport Adalat once in three months in all Regional Transport Offices and Sub-Regional
Transport Offices (ARTO) in the State.
On the spot redressal will be carried out.The main objects of Transport Adalat are :
- To hear Public grievances and complaints.
- To receive Suggestions for improvement on various items of works.
- Spot decisions on certain issues which are common in the interest of public.
- To highlight the problems relating to air pollutions caused by the motor vehicles.
Problems will be heard by the Senior Officers of the Transport Department.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE ? WHO WILL PARTICIPATE ?
Citizens, Unions of transport sector, Local MLAs, Corporators / Municipal Councilers, Chariman RTA, Superintendent of Police, Grama Panchayath members and others who have grievances about the services of the Transport Department. They can make suggestions for improvement of services.
